The almond orchards follow the present tendencies of high density plantations, with mature trees, handled and managed in a way to optimize the production and the labour mechanization.
The plantation distances are of 4 metres within the row and 6 metres between the rows, which gives a density of 170 trees by acre or 416 by hectare. The irrigation is automated, which enables the water and power resources to be used in a better way, and also allows the application of fertilizers in a more efficient way.
All the agro-chemical products applied in our orchards are proven and authorized for the use with almond trees. They are environmentally and entomofauna friendly products, this is very important since applications are made during the period of pollination, where the bees fulfil a fundamental roll for the success of the production.
