Once the fruit is in its optimal state of maturity the time comes to make the harvest. This extends from the end of February and ends in the month of March. For this work we have the necessary technological tools to assure an effective and controlled harvest.
For this shakers are used that embrace the trunks of the trees and generate a vibration that makes the mature fruit fall. For the mechanized harvest a handling plan is required, suitable formation and pruning, that allows the creation and appropriate architecture of the orchard for the correct operation and transit of the harvest machineries.
Once the fruit is harvested it is gathered in with specially designed machinery and it is then transferred to the processing plants.
